Getting there
Public transportation
During legal holidays, the Family Outings program enables one adult holding a valid transportation ticket to travel on the STM network with a maximum of 5 children under the age of 12. Taking advantage of the public transit system is a good way to avoid traffic jams and to do something for yourself… and the environment.
By
metro:
- 10-minute walk from the Place d'Armes
metro station.
By
bus:
- Bus 55 SOUTH (Saint-Laurent).
- Stop at Saint-Laurent Blvd and
Saint-Jacques Street West .
- Then continue south.
By
car from the North Shore
Highway
13 :
- Drive south to the
Métropolitaine Highway (40 East).
- Drive east to get to the Décarie
Highway (15 South).
- Take Décarie up to the
Ville-Marie Highway (720 East).
- Drive east to take the Berri -
Saint-Laurent exit.
- Turn right to reach de la
Commune Street.
- Turn right again and continue to the
corner of Saint-Laurent Boulevard.
Highway
15 :
- Drive south to the
Métropolitaine Highway (40 West).
- Drive west to get to the Décarie
Highway (15 South).
- Take Décarie up to the
Ville-Marie Highway (720 East).
- Drive east to take the Berri -
Saint-Laurent exit.
- Turn right to reach de la
Commune Street.
- Turn right again and continue to the
corner of Saint-Laurent Boulevard.
By car from
the South Shore
Via
the Champlain Bridge : Take
the Wellington exit, then follow the signs to Old Montréal.
Via
the Victoria Bridge : About one
kilometre after coming off the bridge, turn right, onto Mill
Street (near the
shopping centre). Drive onto this street to de la Commune
(you'll
cross a
small canal). Turn
right and go to the corner of Saint-Laurent Boulevard and de
la
Commune
Street.
Via
the
Jacques-Cartier Bridge : Keep to the right as you come off
the bridge. At the first traffic
lights (de Maisonneuve Boulevard),
turn
right and continue on de Maisonneuve, keeping to
the left.
You'll cross Amherst and Saint-Hubert
streets, among others. Turn left on Berri Street, which will
take you directly to de la
Commune Street, in Old Montréal. Then turn right, and continue
to
Saint-Laurent Boulevard.
By
car
from downtown : Berri, Saint-Urbain, de Bleury (du Parc
Avenue, north of Sherbrooke)
and McGill (Beaver Hall
Hill,
north of Viger) will all lead you to de la Commune Street, which
runs
along in front of
the
Old Port.

parking spots (including 131 spots reserved for the Yacht Club
during
summertime)

(Montréal Science Center) - 440 parking spots
• Alexandra Pier -

Bus
parking - school and tour groups :
Free parking on the promenade
of the Piers of the Old Port during low season. During high
season,
parking only on
the Port road.
